2/3/2025 0 Comments Here We Go...![]() Everyday, things are happening that leave so many folx scared and confused and tired and lost. We're all feeling it. And even within that reality, our students -- who range in age from 15 1/2 all the way up to folx in their 90s (!) -- still need us. Many of them are getting their licenses for the first time, and regardless of what's happening in the world, they still crave that sense of independence that new drivers have always craved...and for myriad reasons -- some classic (wanting to hang with friends and drive to practice) and some more practical (getting to and from work or helping their families). And we're still here for it! Safe Pass is made of strong stuff. We opened our doors in April 2020 and have been doing all we can since then to provide our students with a safe environment in which to learn as they present as their authentic selves. That second part...iykyk. We continue to be in awe at the trust our students and their families place in us when inviting our skilled educators to take this journey with them...and we'll never take that trust for granted. Right along with our students and their families, we're learning to exist in a world that seems louder than ever before. And we're meeting that cacophony with compassion, empathy, understanding, and resilience at every turn. Safe Pass isn't for everyone, and if you decide we are for you, chances are you made that decision intentionally, with a strong sense of what's important to you as you take the most important journey of your life. So, where do we all go from here? We keep investing in our community. We keep asking questions. We keep challenging one another to know better, so that as Maya Angelou tells us, we can do better. Start a conversation with us. We're here to listen, respond, and learn. We keep moving forward so that we can best serve our students, their families, and our community. We'll keep adapting as those needs keep changing. Stay safe in whatever ways you can, friends. All our love 💚 🌺 Max
