Do you have what it takes?
We get it. No one dreams of being a Driving Instructor when they're a kid.
No one thinks about just how exciting it could be to get in a car with a person (much less a teen) who doesn't have a license.
Until they become a Driving Instructor. And they realize the ability they have to change the lives of the people in their communities for the better.
This isn't a job. This is a career.
We change lives. One lesson at a time.
We also aim to create an environment in which our Instructor feels supported, in which they thrive, in which they are encouraged to share their talents with this amazing team...to not only teach but to learn from one another.
We want you to be your most authentic self as you find your purpose as a member of the Safe Pass team.
Kristen and Max Swinton founded Safe Pass Driving School in 2020 (you know...the year where everything was cancelled, when we honked for birthdays, when toilet paper/Clorox wipes/hand sanitizer became urban legends, and when those of us with glasses switched to contacts).
This wasn't some sort of long-planned, finally realized dream. Like a lot of folks, Max lost their position as a Driving Instructor just as the pandemic started. Rather than surrender their passion, they and Kristen (along with incredibly supportive friends and family) worked to find a way to keep it going.
They started Safe Pass with three goals in mind – put as many safe drivers on the road as possible, help those drivers to pass the road test on the first attempt, and provide exceptional guidance and support to our students and their families throughout what can be a confusing and often stressful process.
We have an incredible team to help us achieve these goals, and to meet the demand our students have for exceptional driver education from people who actually care about their safety rather than simply preparing them to pass a 15-minute driving test, we need you.
Each of our students has a story. We aim to hire Instructors who understand that and who approach each of our students as individuals on their own journeys. The Driving Instructor position offers a great opportunity for teachers, bus drivers, recent college grads, coaches, police officers, retirees, or anyone looking to make a real difference in the lives of others.
