We realize...
...that this is a challenging time for the health of our students and their families. We are doing everything we can to keep our students and Instructors healthy and safe -- now and always.
In the Classroom
Instructors
Our Instructors will be wearing double layer fabric masks (manufactured by Where I'm From, which is based in Columbus, OH) whenever they are in the classroom or the facility in which the classroom is housed when students, parents, or other guests are present.
Students
Students will be required to wear masks/cloth face coverings that cover their mouth, nose, and chin whenever they are in the classroom or the facility in which the classroom is housed. The student should apply the mask/cloth face covering after washing their hands with soap and water and before entering the classroom. If the student has a health situation that prohibits them from wearing a mask/cloth face covering, please contact us to discuss alternatives.
Each student will be given a short written questionnaire with the following questions when they enter the classroom. (Parents/guardians/custodians are encouraged to remain on the premises until the student has successfully completed this questionnaire.)
If a student answers YES to any of these questions, they will be instructed to leave and invited to return once the following conditions have been met:
Parents/Guardians/Custodians/Guests
These individuals will be required to wear masks/cloth face coverings that cover their mouth, nose, and chin whenever they are in the classroom or the facility in which the classroom is housed. In the interest of limiting the number of people with the facility/classroom, we request that parents/guardians/custodians not enter the facility/classroom unless absolutely necessary. If you have questions or need to speak with an Instructor, please let your student know, and the Instructor will arrange to speak with you outside the facility/classroom after class concludes (weather permitting) or will set a call with you for the next business day.

Each student will be given a short written questionnaire with the following questions when they enter the classroom. (Parents/guardians/custodians are encouraged to remain on the premises until the student has successfully completed this questionnaire.)
- Was your temperature outside of a normal, healthy range this morning?
- Have you or anyone in your family been in contact with a person who is in the process of being tested for COVID-19?
- Have you or anyone in your family traveled outside of the United States within the last two weeks?
- Have you been advised to self-quarantine due to possible exposure to COVID-19?
- Are you having trouble breathing, or have you had flu-like symptoms within the past 48 hours , including: fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny/stuffy nose, body aches, chills, or fatigue?
If a student answers YES to any of these questions, they will be instructed to leave and invited to return once the following conditions have been met:
- At least seven (7) days have passed since symptoms first began.
- Symptoms have improved for at least seventy-two (72) hours.
- The student is free of fever (without the use of medication) for at least seventy-two (72) hours.

In the Car
Instructors
Our Instructors will be wearing double layer fabric masks (purchased from Where I'm From, which is based in Columbus, OH) that cover their mouth, nose, and chin whenever they are in the vehicle with a student.
Hand sanitizer will be available to both the student and the Instructor during each lesson.
Before each new student enters the vehicle, the Instructor will wipe down the steering wheel, gearshift, signal levers, door handles, and any other common areas that may have been touched by either the Instructor or previous student when in the driver's seat.
When possible, the vehicle's vent fan will be on, and the windows will be opened periodically to assist in air circulation.
(Policy based on the CDC's guidelines for cleaning and disinfection for non-emergency transport vehicles.)
Students
Students will be required to wear masks/cloth face coverings that cover their mouth, nose, and chin whenever they are in the vehicle. At the current time, students will not be permitted to enter the vehicle without a face mask that covers their mouth, nose, and chin. The student should apply the mask/cloth face covering after washing their hands with soap and water and before entering the vehicle.
Students are encouraged to bring a travel-sized bottle of hand sanitizer with them to each lesson, and the Instructor will have hand sanitizer available at all times as well.
Students will not be permitted to enter the vehicle wearing gloves. According to the CDC, "COVID-19 spreads through respiratory droplets that can land on surfaces. If the wearer touches a variety of surfaces during the day while wearing the same pair of gloves, contamination can definitely be transmitted from one surface to another." (Please see the CDC's guidelines on when to wear gloves for more information.)
Each student will be given a short written questionnaire with the following questions when they enter the vehicle. (The vehicle will remain stationary until the student completes this survey.)
If a student answers YES to any of these questions, they will be instructed to leave and invited to return once the following conditions have been met:
