We strive each day...
...to meet and exceed the expectations and needs of our student and their families, so we hope you never need to access the refund policy. If you do, though, here are the details. The nature of the services that we offer require that we move quickly to secure and reserve students' seats in classroom lessons and appointments for behind the wheel lessons. Both space and time are limiting factors. As a result, we are not able to honor the request for a refund for classroom students once a seat for classroom lessons has been secured and reserved (confirmed by Safe Pass sending the student/family the first email communication), and we are not able to honor the request for a refund for online and regular driving lesson students once the scheduling process for behind the wheel lessons has begun. If you have a conflict because of an emergency or medical situation (we may ask for further details), we will do everything we can to show sensitivity to your situation and to accommodate your schedule while continuing to follow state mandates regarding completion of courses.
Our official refund policy is stated on our training agreements as follows:
"All refund requests for all services are charged a $10.00 processing fee. No refunds are permitted once a seat has been reserved for a student in monthly classroom lessons and/or once the scheduling process for behind the wheel lessons has begun, whichever comes first. Refunds will be processed in full if Safe Pass cancels a class/service for which Safe Pass is not able to offer a substitution. Refunds take 7-10 business days to process and will be provided by check. No refund will be issued if the student is expelled for disciplinary reasons. Should a check received as payment be returned, the student will be removed from class and driving schedule until such check is made good. An additional fee of $30.00 will be charged for any returned check. Upon expiration of the training agreement agreement, as indicated by the “must complete course by” date on the training agreement, a reinstatement fee will be charged before any further services are provided. If training is not completed by the “must complete course by” date on the training agreement, training must be restarted and, if the student and parent (if applicable) so choose, a new agreement signed."
Additionally, should a student register and submit tuition for a course, they have 90 days in which to begin that course. If they have not begun the course for which they have registered within that 90 day period, their tuition is forfeit.
