At Safe Pass, we do everything we can to work with our students to schedule lessons that work with their schedules and to remind them of those lessons through the sending of calendar appointments for all lessons and text messages before their first lesson, which includes a reminder of everything they need to have/present to begin behind the wheel lessons.

As stated in the training agreement:

"If the student must cancel or reschedule a scheduled driving lesson, the cancellation or rescheduling must be made before a minimum of 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Failure to do so will result in an additional fee of $25.00 per hour scheduled. The same fee shall apply should the student fail to appear for, or for any reason not be prepared to take (as determined by the Instructor), the scheduled lesson. Safe Pass reserves the right to deny the Student admittance to any class or lesson if the student is tardy."

The student will be considered prepared or unprepared for a lesson at the Instructor's discretion. Reasons for considering a student unprepared for a lesson include but are not limited to a student: not presenting their online course enrollment certificate (only required if they have not completed the online course) or online course completion certificate; not having their temporary permit in their possession; not having glasses or wearing contacts, if shown as required on their temporary permit; not having or refusing to wear a mask that covers their nose, mouth, and chin; showing signs of illness; showing signs of being tired or fatigued (i.e. yawning, slow reaction time, lack of response, droopy eyelids, a student saying that they are tired); having the scent of alcohol or other drugs or showed other sign(s) of alcohol or other drug use; not wearing shoes or other appropriate/safe footwear; not following the expressed directions of the Instructor once the lesson has begun.

Thank you for your understanding and for working with us to provide a safe driver education experience for all our students and their families!
